PSISA Instructor-Led Online Security Guard Course meets the requirements for the Instructor-Led online version of the 40-hour course. Delivered in partnership with WPSL Security Solutions, who is the training provider. This course does not include Emergency First Aid – All students must be currently Emergency First Aid Certified (with a St. John’s Ambulance or WSIB certified instructor) or complete their certification prior to completing this course. The SGTO Private Security and Investigative Services Act Instructor Led Online Security Guard Program is an online security guard program that covers various topics related to the role and duties of security guards in Ontario. This course is instructor lead and covers all areas of the current curriculum EXCEPT FOR FIRST AID. The program is interactive and includes a virtual facilitator, interactive elements, videos, news forums, and online meeting areas. The course is approximately 16 hours in duration online (equivalent to 40 hours in class) and includes a number of assignments as well as live class conferences. This course is delivered in association with WPSL Security Solutions which is a Ministry Registered ‘Training Entity’.
